The PPP Practitioners of Nigeria is an association that has come into being to professionalize the practice of PPP in Nigeria with a view to entrenching ethical practices amongst practitioners. We are here to prepare practitioners and intending practitioners by way of training and re-training to be able to acquire and maintain global PPP certifications(IP3,) with which to serve PPP stakeholders competently as transaction advisors. We are also here through advocacy to push for deepening the understanding and acceptance of the PPP model of public infrastructure procurement which has become very, very imperative in the face of expanding needs of public infrastructure and dwindling public revenue.

Objectives

  1. To promote professional practice of PPP in Nigeria.
  2. To determine and develop a body of knowledge and best practices for PPP practitioners.
  3. To ensure compliance with the code of ethics and professional conduct among the practitioners.
  4. To train and retrain practitioners as transaction advisors.
  5. To exercise disciplinary actions against erring members.
  6. To protect the interest of members.
  7. To maintain a data base of members as a clearing house for lenders, investors and other stakeholders.
  8. To liaise with the regulatory agencies to promote collaboration.
  9. To work towards the inclusion of PPP training in the curriculum of relevant institutions.
  10. To pursue parliamentary recognition for the award of a charter as a professional body.
  11. To represent Nigeria as a professional body in the comity of professional bodies of PPP in the world.
  12. To engage in policy advocacy geared towards the enactment of laws that will be beneficial to the practice of PPP in Nigeria.
  13. To promote the interest of members through affiliation and membership of international professional associations.
